Event date/location: Saturday, October 10, 2026 @ Las Vegas Convention Center (South Hall) Las Vegas, NV. Blog by Henry Ma / PHM

""

BMS stands for Be My Secret, it’s a cars and anime convention, a fusion of anime culture and mash it with a car show (presented by GearHead Society), it’s also a place where you’ll find cars with itasha builds.. for those that goes what the hell is itasha? Yeah I had to look it up, but it’s basically cars wrapped and decked out with anime graphics and props. It’s pretty cool if you ask me (just not sure about driving it around town with a prop machine gun mounted on the side of the car though.. cops might not like that… even though we’re getting close to Halloween)

Anyway, Anime culture is supposed to be huge. BMS did Idaho, Utah, and Colorado last year, Vegas is new for 2026 and I believe they’re just testing the water. Sadly after my visit there on Saturday (it’s their main day) I highly doubt they’ll return for next year. So what happened? First, let’s talk about signage and promotions.

""

Above: This is the only signage you’ll see, you can barely tell what show is happening inside..

First, there’s almost zero signage outside that this event is even happening inside Las Vegas Convention Center. I know signage can get expensive for the convention, at least have a couple of sign spinners on Paradise where high traffic area is to draw people to the event.. there’s just.. nothing. Same goes with the official LVCC calendar, the event is not even listed there!! (again, most likely because you have to pay extra for that)

""

Above: Good news is that parking is FREE on the silver lot

""

Below: BMS main booth

""

Below: One of my favorite setup, or maybe because it’s getting close to Halloween?

""

""

Below: Chucky on the launcher is SICK!!

""

Below: Such a cool setup, this took a LOT of work and tons of props, it’s insane!

""

Below: One of the stage events, it was more of a seminar where she teaches people how to pose

""

""

Above and below: Some of the Itasha builds I was talking about earlier

""

Below: This is the most crowd I’ve seen on Saturday and it’s not really crowded at all..

""

""

Above: Wait what?!? Alright I have to ask, who wants to sit on the 1/2 car? I see the big teddy is ready to roll!

""

Above: And before I forgot, did I mention there’s 0 concession stands inside the venue?? This is the only food truck available that’s OUTSIDE

My guess is having concession stands inside cost extras.. they looked at their ticket sales and it didn’t justify getting it. That’s my guess anyway.

""

Above: Zahrely posing with a nice Lexus RC

""

Above: Kassidi Hansen posing with a heavily modified Tesla Model 3

""

Above: Ms Lily posing with a heavily modified 1993 S-10 @The_Vegas_Savage

And before we wrap things up here, below is what the show looks like for most of the day on Saturday

""

I’m going to guess 90% of the people there are vendors, car owners, etc. There’s just not a whole lot of spectators. I can see why they had to cancel Demon Dolls (one of the performers) and one of the voice actors. I recall BMS Vegas was supposed to happen back in May and they pushed it to October. My guess is the numbers weren’t there in May and October is close to Halloween (which should help)

I highly doubt they’ll return next year, it’s sad because this is a pretty cool show (definitely different than your typical car shows) Even though I didn’t quite understand the Maid Cafe, etc. and some of the Anime culture it was still a nice experience.

Anyway, I can go and on about this, check back this spot later for more photos.

More info on BMS upcoming events.
