Frankly I wasn&#8217;t even aware this has been going on as this is their 15th year.  So what is AltStar?  (From their website)  AltStar is tattoo, goth, punk, fetish, and alt-cosplay culture, basically all meshed up into this 4 days event.   Yes it is a niche group and yes it is not everyone&#8217;s cup of tea.  But boy oh boy the energy this group brings out it&#8217;s on another level.  Let&#8217;s just say we had more fun shooting at the AltStar Awards event than any other adult industry parties\/awards that we&#8217;ve been attending&#8230;   how we missed out on this is beyond me.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now I wasn&#8217;t able to make it to Day 1 (Industry) as it was on a Thursday but then again unless you&#8217;re a content creator, you&#8217;re not going to miss much.  There&#8217;s some useful panels for collabs and photographers but other than that.  It&#8217;s a chill day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was there Day 2 (Industry only) mainly because I was more interested in attending the Alt Pool party. The strange part is this was NOT a private event as we saw family with their kids walked in..    it was super hot.. in fact, so hot that our cameras were overheating!   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Day 3 is a combo of Industry and Fans with plenty of signings and photo ops along with tons of panels.  It&#8217;s also the same day (night) that Alt.erotic with their yearly Pro Penis riders tournament being held at the world famous Nerd Bar. Note she was also the previous year&#8217;s champion, defended her title against some stiff (no pun intended) competition!   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Day 4 (final) is the AltStar Red Carpet and Awards being held at Bizarre Bar in downtown vegas.
