Hello all (if anyone is even reading this), before we get to the photos (or just scroll down and skip if you don’t feel like reading), I wanted to point out this is my first time being back to an eXXXotica event. It’s been ages since I’ve attended as usually Ray (from imagesbyray.net<\/a>) will cover the event for PHM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normally I would bring my camera equipment but I figured you guys don’t need tons of photos and no video. So, I’ve left my professional equipment behind and brought my new trusty Google pixel 8a (sorry not the pro version) for the video coverage. You might be wondering why the heck I’m mentioning all this?? This info will come in handy later as I’m about to explain my 1st INCIDENT at a public event. (OK maybe not the 1st one but it’s definitely a first in years) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For taking video, I’m usually tagging along with Ray so when he shoots, I shoot, very standard stuff. All is well till we get to the inked vixens booth. That’s when we noticed Aurora Anarchy is finish setting up (or so we thought) Now granted, normally I would move on and come back later when she’s done. Ray KNOWS her (or so I thought) and she sees him but instead of telling him “Hey can you come back later, I’m still setting up” she made us wait and as the minutes go by, it was awkward. Ray finally went up and tell her we’ll come back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we did go back to her much later figured she’s done setting up. We go up, she sees Ray (I’m right next to him) but obviously she thought I’m just some random dude. She waved Ray to come into the booth for photos, as soon as he started shooting. All hell broke loose because she started YELLING at me saying NO PHOTOS. Here I’m like WTF?!? Kept saying she DID NOT consent to photos, in this case, it’s video. Which is fine but how would I know if there’s no sign??? (This is Day 1) And made a comment she’s only taking photos for Ray because he’s a professional photographer and clearly, I’m not because I’m holding a cell phone. \ud83d\ude41 She really bites my head off on this and made me delete the (video) which I did as I didn’t want to make a scene. She even went a step further to ask the booth (staff) to have him stand in front of me like really??? Note to Aurora, if you did not consent to photos you might want to have a sign READY before setting up. It’s a public event and people are going to take photos\/videos, whether it’s professional photographers, fans, or people in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And of course, the next day (Day 2) she made a handwritten note regarding how she does not consent to photos, etc.. or if you want photo you have to tip or some bs like that. (Wait, so you are OK with people taking photos if they pay you? \ud83d\ude44) Anyway, excuse the long story but if you’re looking for her event photos, you’ll have to look for them elsewhere as she did not consent!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
